Everything was perfect in this accommodation, from the first contact to our departure. We were delighted by the place and the hosts. The room is immaculate, and the bed is of high quality. Clare was an extraordinary host! And the house is better than your wildest expectations. The views from the lounge are spectacular and literally breathtaking. As much as I wanted to explore the area I also wanted to sit on the couch with a hot drink and just… watch the views and light and storms and clouds. The bedrooms were so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I could have stayed here for many days and been quite happy. We explored the derrynane beach and abbey ruins just south of the house and it was stunning. OUTSTANDING Air BnB!! The owners are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. We felt directly like home and were amazed by the great view you have on the ocean (by 270 degrees around). The breakfast is the best start you can have in the morning. Clare is a great cook and makes you awesome food of a well chosen list. The area it is placed in is perfect for fabolous hikes, beach-time or even just relaxing in the garden or the living-room. "Thidwick B&B near Caherdaniel was a stand out due to its amazing location and super host Clare. Clare contacted us earlier in our walk to invite us to dinner as they were having a catch up that night up with friends and family, two of which were walkers we had met in the early days of walking. Lovely home cooked meal, great company (about 10 people for dinner) and Clare’s partner Desi entertained all later on the piano with his often hilarious original songs. What a beautiful home. Lovely panoramic windows at the front overlooking an amazing view (which was a reason for our choice). Clare has thought of everything and was always around to answer any queries we had. It was so comfortable. She explained everything and we felt at home right away. Lovely cooked breakfast. Great recommendations for eating out and walking and anything that goes on in the area. A really lovely stay.
