Clare was an extraordinary host! And the house is better than your wildest expectations. The views from the lounge are spectacular and literally breathtaking. As much as I wanted to explore the area I also wanted to sit on the couch with a hot drink and just… watch the views and light and storms and clouds. The bedrooms were so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I could have stayed here for many days and been quite happy. We explored the derrynane beach and abbey ruins just south of the house and it was stunning. Clare’s recommendations for dinner at The Lobster and The Blind Piper were perfect (we went to both!). You won’t want to leave here, trust me.
