Verified Best view in all of Ireland The most stunning scenery of the trip and one of the most stunning I've ever stayed in period. We had to go to the B&B from the local pub in two car trips, and by the time I got in the car for the second load up I had already gotten messages from my group extolling the glorious views. We sat, heavy and injured from the Kerry Way, just watching the sun set over the water. Absolutely incredible.

Verified What a find! We had a wonderful stay with Claire and Dezy in their wonderful home overlooking the best views and stunning sunrises and sunsets. The breakfast was tasty and Claire was so accommodating to Sue who is vegan. Lovely chats about the local places to eat and we will look forward to returning. Verified We didn't want to leave. We didn't want to leave. We stayed two nights on our Kerry Way hiking adventure. Clare clearly loves sharing the space and hosting guests. From the night before we arrived she was helping us out with information and suggestions. Then on our rest day she provided great suggestions for how to do sightseeing on foot, including the use of insect repellent. The accommodatations were comfortable. It was nice to have a chair that I could sit and enjoy the view from. Breakfast was delicious and the view unparalleled. The lunch we got for our next hike day was the best we had on our trip. It's all the little touches that make it wonderful. Thank you for a hightlight to our tour.

Verified Das beste BnB unserer Irland Reisen Traumhafte Aussicht, große saubere Zimmer, Claire machte ein fantastisches Frühstück, man konnte Wünsche äußern und sie hat alles erfüllt! Claire ist sehr aufmerksam und gibt gute Tipps für Ausflüge. Ihr Mann ist Musiker und es gibt viele Instrumente im Haus. Leider waren wir nur 2 Nächte hier, es ist ein Traumort ! Die Bucht und die Umgebung ist wunderschön, die Skelligs in Sichtweite. Schöne Wanderungen , Strände, Daniel O’Connor House, alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Der Pub blind Piper ist urig und voll mit Einheimischen, hier kommt man noch mit Iren ins Gespräch.

Verified Definitely recommended! We stayed at the Thidwick B&B for four days in July 2024 and enjoyed every day. The view from the breakfast room is breathtaking. The location on the Ring of Kerry is great, from there you can go on beautiful hikes on the Kerry Way (Derrynane House and Beach) and take trips by car to Skellig Drive. Clare is an extremely nice and helpful host. The breakfast is varied and extremely delicious. The rooms are very clean and appropriately furnished, so that you feel at home as a guest. Verified Wonderful trip to Thidwick Had the most wonderful time during my second and my husband's first trip to Ireland. It's the first time we did a B&B for such a trip and found it more relaxing than the usual full schedules offered with the large travel companies. We arrived there at night so had no idea what a picturesque place it was until the next morning. I was delighted to see the sheep through my window when I opened my eyes. The Ring of Kerry is filled with such natural beauty and the people are warm and lovely, as were our hosts. We signed up for a tour excursion with Clare who knows the area like the back of her hand and is an excellent driver. Also, Clare cooked us a delicious breakfast each morning and allowed for us to be flexible as to our eating time, as well as the time we embarked on our tours each day. You can't go wrong in booking at Thidwick!

Verified Das schönste B&B am Kerry Way Das Ende unserer Wanderung am Kerry Way war auch der Höhepunkt: das Thidwick B&B bei Caherdaniel. Das wunderschöne Haus von Claire und Desmond liegt hoch über dem Strand von Derryname und bietet einen fantastischen Blick auf den Atlantik. Unser Zimmer war riesig, supersauber und hat das gemütlichste Bett auf unserer gesamten Reise. Claire ist die perfekte Gastgeberin und zaubert ein großartiges Frühstück. Desmond hat uns auf eine Rundtour bis zu den Kerry Cliffs und Valentina Island mitgenommen. Noch besser als die Landschaft sind seine Geschichten. Dez ist ein begnadeter Erzähler, kritischer Geist und ein weißer Mann. PS: vom Thidwick B&B bis zum Strand oder zum hervorragenden Blind Piper Pub sind zu Fuß nur 40 min. PPS: min 2 Tage bleiben. Dieses schöne und gastfreundliche B&B ist es wert!

Verified A Stay with Amazing Views and Wonderful Hosts We were on a Hiking holiday and stayed here for three nights. It was the best B&B we‘ve stayed at on this vacation. From the beautiful room to the amazing view, super nice and attentive hosts and great breakfast, everything was perfect. We will definitely come back and can fully recommend staying here.

Verified Vue fabuleuse et accueil chaleureux L'accueil était merveilleux, très chaleureux et l'hôte a pu nous trouver une solution alors que l'hébergement était en partie fermé. Le petit déjeuner était très savoureux avec une omelette fraîche. Mais le plus frappant est la vue magnifique sur la baie depuis la chambre ou la salle de petit déjeuner. Merci pour l'accueil et j'espère revenir un jour.

Verified Can’t Wait to Come Back We had a wonderful stay at Thidwick. From the warm welcome and dinner suggestions to the impromptu evening concert, Clare and Dezy were exceptional hosts. We greatly appreciated all the suggestions for activities in the surrounding area. The breakfast omelette was one of the best we ever had. Grandiose Aussicht vom Frühstücks- und Aufenthaltsraum und den Zimmern 1 (geräumig), 3 und 6. Schöne gemütliche helle Zimmer, sehr sauber, gute Matratzen. Leckeres gutes Frühstück. Schön ruhig. Clare ist eine wunderbare Gastgeberin, der das Wohl ihrer Gäste sehr am Herzen liegt. Das Wetter mit viel Nebel trübte unseren Aufenthalt zeitweise etwas, das gemütliche Zimmer und das tolle Lokal "Blind Piper" in der Nähe entschädigten. Eigener PKW notwendig - außer man wandert den Fernwanderweg "Kerry way": ausgeschilderter kurzerAbzweig zum Haus. Traumhafte Rundwanderung mit Start direkt am Haus möglich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!
