Wir waren auf dem Kerry Way wandern und Clare, die Gastgeberin, bot uns an, uns in Caherdaniel abzuholen. Das Thidwick B&B liegt etwas außerhalb dieses Ortes und hat eine fantastische Aussicht auf Meer und Abbey Island. Unser Zimmer im Dachgeschoss war schön und groß. Im Wohnzimmer kann man es sich auf den großen Ledersofas gemütlich machen und die Bibliothek mit Bücher zu Irlands Geschichte durchstöbern. Oder man genießt einfach durch die riesigen Fenster das Naturschauspiel von Wetter und Meer. Mit einem feinen vegetarischen Frühstück verabschiedete uns Clare. Gerne wären wir länger geblieben. The view from the breakfast room is breathtaking. The location on the Ring of Kerry is great, from there you can go on beautiful hikes on the Kerry Way (Derrynane House and Beach) and take trips by car to Skellig Drive. Clare is an extremely nice and helpful host. The breakfast is varied and extremely delicious. The rooms are very clean and appropriately furnished, so that you feel at home as a guest. Thidwick is everything that you could want from a B&B - the rooms were comfortable, clean and peaceful and the breakfast was fresh, delicious and included locally sourced produce. But Thidwick offers much more. Clare is the most welcoming and knowledgable host. Her informed recommendations really made our stay special. And I almost forgot to mention the view which is absolutely spectacular. From the guests' lounge you have a stunning panoramic view down the hillside and out to sea. What a beautiful home. Lovely panoramic windows at the front overlooking an amazing view (which was a reason for our choice). Clare has thought of everything and was always around to answer any queries we had. It was so comfortable. She explained everything and we felt at home right away. Lovely cooked breakfast. Great recommendations for eating out and walking and anything that goes on in the area. A really lovely stay.

“Had a brilliant stay in Thidwick bnb! 5 mins from the gorgeous Derrynane beach and a good location to base yourself to go along the Ring of Kerry. The place was very clean, lovely breakfast, great shower after a day at the beach, has everything you’d need! It is pet friendly too which was ideal for us. I would recommend this place.”

"Thidwick B&B near Caherdaniel was a stand out due to its amazing location and super host Clare. Clare contacted us earlier in our walk to invite us to dinner as they were having a catch up that night up with friends and family, two of which were walkers we had met in the early days of walking. Lovely home cooked meal, great company (about 10 people for dinner) and Clare’s partner Desi entertained all later on the piano with his often hilarious original songs. One of those special travel experiences!"

Wunderschöne Unterkunft mit herrlichem Blick sowohl aus den Zimmern als auch aus dem Panorama-Aufenthaltsraum. Clare was an extraordinary host! And the house is better than your wildest expectations. The views from the lounge are spectacular and literally breathtaking. As much as I wanted to explore the area I also wanted to sit on the couch with a hot drink and just… watch the views and light and storms and clouds. The bedrooms were so comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. I could have stayed here for many days and been quite happy. We explored the derrynane beach and abbey ruins just south of the house and it was stunning. Clare’s recommendations for dinner at The Lobster and The Blind Piper were perfect (we went to both!). You won’t want to leave here, trust me.

Dieses Haus ist einzigartig. Nicht nur die phantastische Lage, die sehr gemütlichen und sauberen Zimmer, sondern auch die Gastfreundschaft von Clare. Wir bekamen ein fürstliches Frühstück, zahlreiche super Tipps und im Bett konnten wir sehr bequem schlafen. Das Auto kann ganz einfach vor dem Haus geparkt werden. Dieses Airbnb ist ein echtes Juwel. OUTSTANDING Air BnB!! The owners are extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. We felt directly like home and were amazed by the great view you have on the ocean (by 270 degrees around). The breakfast is the best start you can have in the morning. Clare is a great cook and makes you awesome food of a well chosen list. The area it is placed in is perfect for fabolous hikes, beach-time or even just relaxing in the garden or the living-room. We will definitely recommend everybody to go there and enjoy the stay (It was our Favorite Air BnB of Ireland and made our stay there the best Ireland-experience)! 6 out of 5 stars!!

Expect nothing short of one of your top overnight experiences. This is a five star with a great host, comfortable and squeaky clean accommodations, the best views in the entire Ring of Kerry and an adventure right out the front door. Host is Lovely. Do Not Miss!

Everything was perfect in this accommodation, from the first contact to our departure. We were delighted by the place and the hosts. The room is immaculate, and the bed is of high quality. The host is very attentive and will prepare a customized breakfast for you.
