Check-In: from 4pm strictly in season (May to September) Please ring front doorbell and you will be met.
Lounge/Breakfast area is a communal space.
Breakfast is served between 8 and 10am.
Check-Out: 12 noon - please leave key in the bedroom door.
Quiet Time is from 10:30pm. Please vacate communal space and use quiet voices.
No Smoking or Vaping inside. Please do NOT put cigarette butts in bedroom dustbins. Ask me for a jar.

From the night before we arrived... read more she was helping us out with information and suggestions. Then on our rest day she provided great suggestions for how to do sightseeing on foot, including the use of insect repellent. The accommodatations were comfortable. It was nice to have a chair that I could sit and enjoy the view from. Breakfast was delicious and the view unparalleled. The lunch we got for our next hike day was the best we had on our trip. It's all the little touches that make it wonderful. Thank you for a hightlight to our tour.

The location on the Ring of... read more Kerry is great, from there you can go on beautiful hikes on the Kerry Way (Derrynane House and Beach) and take trips by car to Skellig Drive. Clare is an extremely nice and helpful host. The breakfast is varied and extremely delicious. The rooms are very clean and appropriately furnished, so that you feel at home as a guest. It's the first time we did a B&B for such a trip and found... read more it more relaxing than the usual full schedules offered with the large travel companies. We arrived there at night so had no idea what a picturesque place it was until the next morning. I was delighted to see the sheep through my window when I opened my eyes. The Ring of Kerry is filled with such natural beauty and the people are warm and lovely, as were our hosts. We signed up for a tour excursion with Clare who knows the area like the back of her hand and is an excellent driver. Also, Clare cooked us a delicious breakfast each morning and allowed for us to be flexible as to our eating time, as well as the time we embarked on our tours each day. You can't go wrong in booking at Thidwick!

She also cooks a... read more very tasty breakfast. The rooms themselves are pretty modest, but the views more than make up for it. We stayed for just one night as we made our way around the Ring of Kerry, which worked out great. The B&B is not in a walkable area, and I am not sure how much there is to do nearby, but for a brief stay during a trip around the Ring of Kerry or along the Wild Atlantic Way, it is perfect!

Minutes away from Skellig Island , Dennynane Beach , Abbey Island , Loher Stone Fort and many other attractions tied to the Ring of Kerry. Claire has such a warm and pleasant personality- her breakfast options was very good and extremely tasty warm food to start the day. We only did one night Brendan and myself but were were comfortable and plan on returning

I can’t imagine a better place to stay. Thidwick’s offers perfection in location, design and the welcoming, yet unobtrusive, service provided by Clare. Breakfast overlooking Derrynane Bay is hard... read more to describe. Just sitting in my lovely room watching a storm play out was enchanting. You can hike to the Kerry Way without even needing your car. I could continue and this is getting too long.

The room and en suite bathroom was excellent. We would definitely return! Special thanks to Claire for accommodating our late night arrival after a busy day of touring and trout fishing in Killarney National Park!

The hosts of this beautiful home are some of the most warm and welcoming people you’ll meet in this country of warm and greeting people 🙂 Claire will fix you a scrumptious breakfast, cater to your travel plans and if you’d like, she’ll personally conduct a tour of this incredible area. It was interesting talking to the two other couples. The road up to the BnB is not walkable so Clare taxied us to and from The Blind Piper Pub for dinner (recommended). Nothing seemed too much trouble. A wonderful stay.

Close by. Clare offered us the vacant room with views over Derrynane instead of the one we had booked. Breakfast was really good. My wife left a small bag there and Clare helped with a tandem drop off that made it to our next BnB
